Consider a romantic dinner nearby. The Village Corner German Restaurant in Stone Mountain Village has Valentine's Day specials which include seafood gratin, prime rib and mahi mahi with caper garlic cream sauce (Andrew Fazakerley will perform Friday night Feb.15).

If it's movies your honey likes, the film "Beautiful Creatures" (PG-13) opens Feb. 14 at AMC Stonecrest 16 in Lithonia. Showtimes on Valentine's Day are 10 a.m., 1:05 p.m., 4:05 p.m., 7:10 p.m. and 10:05 p.m.

Set the mood with a gift basket and candles. Lejoy Gifts and Floral Shop and Scentalicious Soy Candles by Tara in Stone Mountain Village carry fun and romantic items in lovely packaging.

Pick up a bottle of bubbly. Peruse the aisles at places such as Smoke Rise Bottle Shoppe or stay in your car and have a store worker bring the bottle to you at New Era Drive Thru package store in Lithonia, 7057 Covington Highway.

Get tickets to a show. Surprise your love with tickets to Tip Tap Two at ART Station, running Feb. 22-24 - maybe slip the tickets inside that special gift basket?
