Goodbye, Blockbuster; Hello, Aunt Ruby's Treats

The Welcome Wagon Watch is a new feature on Stone Mountain Patch to let you know about newly opened -- and closed -- businesses.

Every week, it seems, there's a new business on the block -- or one that has shuttered for good. Patch aims to help keep you in the know about what's new and what's gone.

Goodbye, Blockbuster: The video store at 1175 South Hairston Road closed its doors yesterday.

Hello, Aunt Ruby's Treats: this relatively new cafe is inside the Shell station at 1535 Lilburn-Stone Mountain Road. The cafe has subs, homemade soups, Jamaican patties and other Caribbean pastries. The pastries and bread are made daily.
