First Monday lunch speaker is DeKalb CEO Burrell Ellis; new program for potential members and holiday mixer are also coming up.

DeKalb Chamber's First Monday Lunch

DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis will be the keynote speaker for the DeKalb Chamber's December First Monday lunch on Monday, Dec. 5 at The Conference Center at Georgia Piedmont, 496 N. Indian Creek Drive in Clarkston.

The CEO's topic is "DeKalb County 2011 Year in Review." Registration lasts from 11-11:30 a.m.; the program starts at 11:30 a.m. Member pricing, $40; member pricing at the door and general admission pricing, $45.

Attend this new prorgam where potential chamber members can learn about the pros of joining the organization. The free program takes place in the community conference room of Cornerstone Bank, 125 Clairemont Avenue in Decatur, on Wednesday, Dec. 7 and lasts from 8:30-9:30 a.m.

DeKalb Chamber's Annual Holiday Mixer

The DeKalb Chamber will hold its annual holiday mixer on Thursday, Dec. 15, from 5:30 p.m. toΒ  7:30 p.m. at Car Connection, 2558 Mountain Industrial Boulevard in Tucker. The RSVP date is Dec.13.

Member pricing prior to RSVP date is free; member pricing after the RSVP date,Β  $10.00; general admission pricing, $15.

Bring an unwrapped toy or clothing item to donate and registration is complimentary.

(The DeKalb Chamber member Desire Street Ministries' Pride for Parents Toy Drive. Donated items will be available in a community toy store for families that live at or below the poverty line.)
