Toddler Shooting Suspect Identified, Considered 'Armed and Dangerous'

DECATUR — DeKalb County Police Chief Cedric Alexander said Friday investigators have identified the shooter they believe is responsible for shooting a two-year-old boy in the parking lot of the Stone Mountain Kroger.

Police warrants have been issued for Chazerel Burton, 21, Alexander said. He is wanted on three charges of aggravated assault and one charge of criminal damage — all felony charges, according to a DeKalb County Police Department spokeswoman.
