Some critics have warmed up to the movie "Warm Bodies."
Warm Bodies is playing today, Saturday, Feb. 2, at AMC Stoncrest 16 at the following times: 10:45 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:10 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 9:30 p.m.
Mary Pols of Time magazine opened her of "Warm Bodies" review with this line:
Warm Bodies is the first movie worth paying to see in theaters this year.
Brad Keefe had this to say about the new rated PG-13 movie on Columbusalive.com:
Fear not, “Warm Bodies” has a lot more humor than melodrama. It has plenty of fun with the premise of pulse-crossed lovers, and, yeah, it’s even got a surprising amount of heart.
And Sheri Linden writes this about the movie on The Huffington Post:
Working from Isaac Marion's young-adult novel, writer-director Jonathan Levine has devised a feature that's his highest-concept production to date, yet still somehow his least contrived. His affinity for low-key male coming-of-age stories, demonstrated in "The Wackness" and "50/50," lends itself to the saga of an undead sensitive guy who falls for a real-live girl.
