Tune In To Stone Mountain Hamfest

Part flea market, part educational seminars, part vendor displays and sales.

The Alford Memorial Radio Club announces its 42nd annual Stone Mountain Hamfest will be held Saturday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 3.

It’s part flea market, part educational seminars, part vendor displays and sales. Amateur radio operators and those interested in electronics and computers will gather to see and talk about ham radio equipment old and new and discuss the world-wide hobby.

As Club President Steve Garrison put it, “there are more licensed amateur operators than ever before in the United States and the hamfest provides an opportunity for ham operators and those who may have an interest in our hobby to get together to see and discuss what makes amateur radio a fun endeavor that at the same time can provide real community service.”
