Grassroots Festival Gets Tourism Award
STS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of tourism throughout the Southeast.
The Southeast Tourism Society has selected the Stone Mountain Village Blue Grassroots Music & Arts Festival, held every March, to be one of its Top 20 Events.
According to its website, the Southeast Tourism Society chooses the Top 20 events for each month of the year through a nomination process and publishes this list of winners quarterly.
Incidentally, there is a weekly bluegrass jam session on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. at the Gazebo in Stone Mountain Village. It's free and open to all.
