There will be dancing in the streets of Stone Mountain Village March 31.
The third annual Blue Grassroots Music and Arts Festival in Stone Mountain Village takes place that day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Organizers say bluegrass and "old-time jamming" will take place throughout stores, on corners, and in restaurants in Stone Mountain Village. The Festival co-producers are John Kelley and Jack Sartain.
There will be band contests in a concert area and specific "jamspots" with tents and chairs, according to information on the web site about the festival.
Instrument workshops will also be available; locations to be announced.
The Stone Mountain Art Stroll is scheduled from 7-9 p.m. the same day.
