ART Station Opens Again

Mayor Pat Wheeler cut the ribbon and officially declared ART Station re-opened.

The ART Station in Stone Mountain held itsΒ Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, Sept. 28. Over 400 people attended the event which included food sponsors, Atlanta International Foods, Lauri Jo's Canning Company, Gullah Gourmet and Bar-B-Que by Wayne and Beth Snead.

Performances were in all three performance venues. The Atlanta Philharmonic played in the newly renovated theatre. Lisa Paige, Patrick Hutchison and Dik Holland performed in the new Cabaret Theatre and Thom & Mike Jenkins performed in the newly constructed gallery assembly space in the upstairs main gallery.

Mayor Patricia Wheeler officially cut the bow tie ribbon and declared ART Station re-open with a proclamation. The winner of the raffle was Carolyn Jewell from Stone Mountain. She won a fourth generation Apple iPad, a storage device, (10) all-day attraction passes to Stone Mountain Park and a one night's stay at the Evergreen Resort & Conference Center.
