The complex has indeed gone down over the years, with fires being an on-again, off-again problem in the vacant apartments in recent times.

So, what would you like to see in that massive space instead? Another apartment complex? Retail? A live-work-play development? Green space?

If crime is a problem, how about a police substation? Or, apartments under a new management company. Or raze the buildings and put in detached homes, but with lots spaced so you aren't reaching out and touching your neighbor! Or a grocery store.

I love those ideas, Nick! At a recent public safety forum, someone who lives in the area asked about having a police substation there.
