[Video] 'DockDogs' at Stone Mountain Park

There was a whole lotta jumpin' going on at the DockDogs World Championship Wild Card Event this weekend at the rock.

Dogs were in flight, if only for a few seconds, before they made a big splash during the DockDogs World Championship Wild Card Event at over the weekend.

More than 100 dogs competed in a total of 17 divisions over three days, said event manager Joe Fonzino.

Pictured at the end of the attached video are dogs and their owners who placed in the finals Sunday evening, including Sam Gentsch and Rhapsody or "Rhap" of Cartersville, as well as Brianna Minshew and first-place winner Knox, of Rome, Ga.

Knox, a border collie, jumped an impressive 26 feet Sunday in the Super Leap Division (for dogs that jump more than 25 feet).

The DockDogs World Championships will be held in November in Iowa.
