Violations cited: Food employees not cleaning hands immediately before engaging in food prep. Raw animal foods not separated from each other during storage, preparation, holding, and display.Cold-held potentially hazardous foods (sliced melon, cheese, pico de gaio) not maintained below 41F; no time controls/documentation in place. After cleaning and sanitizing, equipment and utensils not air-dried.

Baked chicken, baked beans, and raw chicken wings in Superior cooler not maintained at 41F or below. Potentially hazardous foods not thawed under an approved method. Observed raw chicken thawing in sink in standing water. Observed scoop in sugar without handle.

Violations cited: Storage shelves in main kitchen unclean with food accumualtion and debris. Cold-held potentially hazardous foods not maintained below 41F; no time controls/documentation in place. The most current inspection report not posted; Mechanical dishwasher not sufficiently cleaning food contact equipment and utensils.

Violations cited: Refrigerated, ready-to-eat, potentially hazardous food prepared and held in the establishment for more than 24 hours not clearly marked to indicate the date by which the food must be consumed, sold, or discarded. In-use, wet wiping cloths not stored in an approved sanitizing solution. Lighting in restroom not adequate.

Violations: Food employees not cleaning hands immediately before engaging in food prep. Observed employee handle money then prep raw chicken without washing hands.Soap and/or paper towels not available at the hand sink. Employee wearing fingernail polish or artificial fingernails when working with exposed food, but not wearing gloves in good repair. Employee not using an effective means of restraint for hair, beard, or mustache longer than ½ inch.

Score: 94/A
Previous score: 94/A on Oct.28, 2009; 96/A on March 19, 2009.
Violations cited: Uncovered employee beverages are being stored on food equipment and single service articles.Upon arrival no soap was available at the hand sinks. Floor drain is backed up near the dish machine.

Name and location: The Party Room, 5481 Memorial Drive, Suite E & F
Score: 93/A
Previous Scores: 98/A on Feb. 11, 2011; 94/A on June 19, 2010; 93/A on June 25, 2009.
Violation cited: Interior surfaces of the ice machine are not cleaned from dust and black mildew. Sandwich breads expired.

Name and location: McDonald’s, 370 North Deshon Road
Score: 82/B
Previous scores: 86/B on Feb. 9, 2011; 89/B Feb. 9, 2010
Violations cited: Food not stored in packages, covered containers, or wrappings. Mechanical hot water sanitization not achieving a utensil surface temperature of 160F as measured by an irreversible registering temperature indicator. The top one-third of a copy of the current inspection report is not visible through the drive-thru window of the facility.
