Pet of the Week: Cricket

Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends Inc. is a good place to start looking for a new furry best friend.

Meet Cricket, a sweet and frisky kitty who needs the right home to call her own. , director of Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends Inc. (AARF) in Stone Mountain, describes Cricket this way:

"Cricket is a goofy and playful one year old long-haired calico cat. She was rescued from the DeKalb County shelter. She does well with other cats, but would also do well in a home where she is the only queen bee. Cricket loves to play with toys and will spend the afternoon lounging on the window sill and watching the birds and squirrels.

Because Cricket is so young and playful, she may do best in a home without young children. She could probably also learn to be friends with a dog that likes cats. While she enjoys a good pet, she is not really a lap cat. Instead, she will sit next to you on the couch and enjoy a good movie.

Cricket is a beautiful girl who will entertain her family for hours."

For more information on Cricket, contact Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends, Inc. located at 6570 James B Rivers Dr., Stone Mountain.
