Lithonia City Wants to be on National Historic Register

Being on the register would give property owners tax breaks, among other pluses, according to a report.

WABE reports that the city of Lithonia wants to be National Register of Historic Places.

Being on the register would give tax advantages for property owners among other pluses, Mayor Deborah Jackson said in the report.

The Arabia Mountain Heritage Alliance is assisting the city in the long-time effort, according to WABE.
