Patch has got some suggestions for you to enjoy getting out and about this wonderful weather weekend. From art and history exhibits to celebrating the Earth and childhood books, there's plenty of family fun-filled activities in and around town.

Why Go: This Saturday is the very last day to see amazing art such as metal works from Dennis Primm, doggy folk paintings from Bailey Jack and various forms in the ART Station Members Juried Exhibition #2. Hurry, because the next exhibition doesn't debut until March 25.

Why Go: Got a hog? The Bloc Burnaz of ATL is having their fourth anniversary party to show their love for motorcycles with dancing and having a good time. Food and drink specials will be available all night long with live music and DJs for entertainment.
Pricing: Tickets are under $10.
When/Where: Friday, Feb. 25, 9 a.m.-5p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26, hours vary, Centerville Community Center, 3025 Bethany Church Road, Snellville.
Why Go: Saturday is the last day to see the exhibit at Centerville to celebrate Black History Month. Bring the family for a self-guided tour of famous first African-Americans, a photo gallery, folk art, essays, noteworthy speeches and more.

When/Where: Friday, Feb. 25, 2 p.m.-midnight, Lilburn Cafe, 5514 Lawrenceville Highway, Lilburn.
Why Go: Presented by Akosia and the Tomorrow's Kaleidoscope of Artists Foundation, "It's an Artful World" is an all-day event that will benefit underpriviledged women and children with needs such as food, skill-teaching and art education programs. From Feb. 18-25, $1 from every special coffee and smoothie will be donated to the cause, so grab a cup on the last day to do your part. Friday's event will have bands, DJs and other musicians perform from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and craftsmen will also feature their works such as jewelry, clothing and art. A portion of the sales from works will be donated to the cause, too. Kids can have fun at the event from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. activities aimed just at them.

When/Where: Saturday, Feb. 26, 10 a.m., Lilburn City Park and Camp Creek Greenway Trail, 76 Main Street, Lilburn.
Why Go: Celebrate fabulous mother Earth in Lilburn by engaging your weekend with some green. Highlights of the event include a guided nature walk, a tree planting in honor of Salem Missionary Baptist Church, a flag ceremony led by local Girl Scouts and demonstrations by the Atlanta Woodcarvers Club. Girl Scout Troup 1252 will have tons of kids stuff to do such as a bean bag toss, a relay race and a pine cone "Picasso" art project. Light refreshments and face painting will be available along with a human-sized bird's nest for the kids to play around in.
