ART Station November lunchtime series: Come listen to excerpts from "Twentieth Century Songbook" with Wendy Bennett at , noon- 1 p.m. Show tunes and songs from the early 1900s to the present will be covered. Tickets are $10 for the presentation and boxed lunch; $5 for the presentation only. For more information: 770-469-1105.
3. Toddler story time: At Hairston Crossing Library today, 10:30 a.m.-11 a.m. Stories, fingerplays, rhymes, songs are for ages 2-3 (and their parents/caregivers). Open to first 15 participants.

4. Checkmate! Chess fans age 7-14 can play the game today at Lithonia-Davidson Library, 5:30-7 p.m.
