Building Blocks: Work out some of that baby energy at Building Blocks today, 10-10:45 a.m. at Redan-Trotti Library, for ages 0-24 months. Activities include stories, fingerplays, rhymes, songs and "play with a purpose."
Books with Buddies: This program at Hairston Crossing Library from 3-4 p.m. today is for young readers, ages 5-8, to practice their skills in "an encouraging, friendly environment." Library folks say kids should bring a favorite toy or stuffed animal, their favorite book, or choose from the large collection of easy readers. The group will read out loud to each other, followed by reading a book out loud together.
