AARF says you can vote every day until Dec. 31 for the AARF dog adoption room at Pepsi Refresh. The rescue organization says you can also text 110129 to Pepsi (73774) to vote from your phone.

Learn how to make hiking sticks: DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs will host a Green Woodworking demonstration on how to make hiking sticks, today, Dec. 30, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, 3787 Klondike Road, Lithonia.
