3. Trash pick-up: According to DeKalb County's web site -- due to the holiday-- yesterday's (Tuesday's) garbage and yard waste collection will take place today, (Wednesday) Dec. 28; the regular collection schedule will resume on Thursday, Dec. 29.

4. The weather: Sunny -- still pretty cool, high of 51, northwest winds 10 to 15 miles an hour. Lows tonight in the upper 20s.
