Yard Sale to Benefit Charities

Members of the GFWC/GaFWC Stone Mountain Woman’s Club are scouring their cabinets, closets and storage rooms gathering items for a gigantic Yard Sale to be held in early March at their Clubhouse. The Clubhouse is located at 5513 E. Mountain Street in Stone Mountain (next door to Stone Mountain Park).  Proceeds from the sale will benefit a number of charities supported by the Woman’s Club.

Some of the charities the Woman’s Club supports include Dream House for Medically Fragile Children, Side by Side Clubhouse for Brain Injured Adults, Villa International, Ronald McDonald House, ART Station, Operation Christmas Child, Battered Women’s Resource Center, Patients at the VA Hospital, and the Tallulah Falls School in North Georgia, which is owned by the Georgia Federation of Women’s Clubs.
