DeKalb's "Movies in the Park" This Summer Includes Browns Mill

Moviegoers can bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to the free PG movie.

Browns Mill Park in Lithonia is among the sites for this summer's "Movies in the Park," DeKalb county's department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs has announced.

A free movie will be shown at Browns Mill Park, 5010 Browns Mill Rd., on Saturday, July 27. People can bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets "to add to the experience of watching movies under the stars" according to the recreation and cultural affairs department.

The PG-rated movies will be shown on large movie screens on Saturday nights with a dusk start time, approximately 8:30 p.m. Movies will be rescheduled when the weather is bad.
