At the Library: Teen Time, Computer Training, Lego Fun

Family-oriented "Terrific Tuesday Cinema" at Stone Mountain-Sue Kellogg will feature "The Karate Kid" July 5.

All DeKalb County libraries are closed today for the Fourth of July holiday, but don’t worry: the fun doesn’t stop at Stone Mountain branches after the fireworks end. The three local libraries serving Stone Mountain-Redan have some entertaining and educational programs planned this week:

Hairston Crossing:

Wednesday, July 6, 10 am-12 pm: Mouse, Computer and Keyboard Basics for adults ages 18 and up with no previous computer  experience ( some ability to type is required). Please call ahead after the holiday to see if space is still available, as registration began June 27 and the program is open to the first 12 participants. Phone: 404-508-7170.

This program is open to first 25 participants. Groups of 5 or more should call the branch for an appointment.
