At the Library: Support Group at Redan-Trotti on May 28

Parent-run group offers support and education for families of children with autism, other disabilities

Now that the 2010-2011 school year is over and summer break has started, parents are undoubtedly looking for low cost – or better yet, free -- activities for their children. The DeKalb County Public Library system is a great source for no-cost programming, including this week's only offering at the three libraries serving the Stone Mountain-Redan area. There will be summer reading programs cranking up over the next few weeks.

Redan-Trotti:
Saturday, May 28, 2-4 p.m.: “Our Children’s Story: A Support Group.”
Providing support, education and resources for families of children who have autism and other disabilities, the parent-run group welcomes Rosalind Pertillo, who will speak on inclusion.

Hours of operation: All three Stone Mountain-area libraries are closed on Sunday; open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
