On the days when you're not cooling off at the pool, how about chilling out at a Stone Mountain-area library? Kids can learn about healthy eating, little ones can socialize and burn off some energy, and more.
- Today, June 13: Preschool Story Time, 10 -10:45 am. For ages 3 to 5; open to first 16 participants.
- Wednesday, June 15: Open Lab for Job Seekers, 10 am-noon. Conduct job searches, fill out applications at this expanded time to look for work.

- Today, June 13: Teen Anime Club, 6-8pm. Otaku fans ages 13-17 get together to review movies and have discussions. Open to first 24 participants.

- Building Blocks, 10-10:45 am. For ages 0 to 2 years. Every parent is required to participate, and each child needs an adult nap.
- Time for Tales, 11-11:45 am. For ages 3 to 5 years. The stories this summer are about animals known all over the world, followed by a theme-related craft. Open to first 24 participants.
Today, June 13, 6:30-7:20 pm: A Musical Concert with Julie Austin. Austin brings a blend of humor and energy to her storytelling and instrument-playing.
Normal hours of operation: The three libraries serving Stone Mountain -- Stone Mountain-Sue Kellogg, Redan-Trotti, and Hairston Crossing -- are all closed on Sundays; open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
