Primrose School of Five Forks selects the Thorne family as the Family of the Month for April!Dane and Stacy are the proud parents of Chase, a student in our Preschool 1 classroom.
The Thorne Family loves to travel. Chase’s first plane ride was at seven weeks old and she has not stopped flying since. As of today, Chase has traveled to nine different states and Washington, DC to attend the presidential inauguration in 2013!
In addition to traveling, the Thorne Family enjoys spending time with family and friends. Chase loves running and playing with her older cousins and having a good time! Additionally, Chase loves going shopping and getting her nails done with her mom, grandmothers and aunts.
The Thorne Family also enjoys tailgating and going to the Atlanta Falcons home games every year. They also love swimming, dancing and listening to music. One of Chase’s favorite songs is “You Give Love a Bad Name” by Bon Jovi. She knows the lyrics from beginning to end.
Chase loves to put together puzzles and making sure she gets everyone to help her put them together. Chase loves ballet and pretending to be the ballet teacher. She gives everyone instructions on how to do the ballet moves for the day. She loves reading Dr. Seuss and other books. After her mom and dad read to her at night, she makes sure she also reads them
their bedtime stories, as well.
The Thorne family shares their Primrose experience:
When Dane and Stacy were asked why they chose Primrose School of Five Forks for Chase, they replied, “We relocated to the Lilburn area from Loganville in December of 2012. After relocating we continued to take Chase back to her old daycare to avoid an abrupt transition and to keep her close to her friends. However, after their closure we had to make a change
quickly. Prior to the old daycare closure, we had toured Primrose because we know that eventually we were going to make a change, but we were waiting for the right time. Chase has been exposed to Spanish since she was an infant and we were determined to find a school that would continue that exposure and help her learn the language. After touring Primrose and
knowing that we would have Spanish every day in her Preschool 1 classroom, we were sold. We were really impressed with the curriculum, staff and the proximity of the school.
During Chase’s first week of school, we had an opportunity to see what the children in her classroom were learning and we were highly amazed! This impressed us the most and assured us we had made the right decision on choosing Primrose School of Five Forks as Chase’s new school!”
Congratulations to the Thorne Family!
