For the last two years, we encouraged all Georgia United Branches to collect canned goods for local food banks. Our 2013 goal was to surpass 9 tons of food (18,000+ cans) during the 2 month period and Georgia United almost DOUBLED our goal and collected (31,839 cans) 15 tons! (Using these Metrics: One 16 oz. can or box = 1 lb.; $1.00 donation= 1 lb.; 1 ton = 2,000 pounds). This year, February 1 β March 31, weβd like to top that. Will you help us?
