Governor Joins GEMA/Homeland Security Agency Leaders to Promote National Preparedness Month

Earlier today, Gov. Nathan Deal joined Georgia Emergency Management Agency/Homeland Security Director Charley English to remind Georgians that September is National Preparedness Month.

The proclamation signing also featured a group of local, state and federal officials, business leaders, volunteers and faith-based organization representatives, all actively involved in promoting the importance of taking simple steps to prepare for all natural and man-made emergencies.
