Caroline Howard Is Park Springs’ September 2013 Employee of the Month

Caroline Howard, HR Coordinator, was recently honored as Park Springs’ Employee of the Month for September 2013.

While Andrea Johnson, Park Springs’ Human Resources Director, was on maternity leave for three months, Caroline kept everything moving along smoothly and did a great job ‘holding down the office,’ according to the colleagues who nominated her.

She handles new hires, orientation and benefits for Park Springs’ 360 employees. “Helping people is the best part of my job,” says Caroline. “I love being their point of contact and assist them when I can. It is really satisfying to me to help resolve issues, whether these are related to the job or personal.”

When asked about major influences in her life, Caroline compliments her mother for teaching her important values early in life, but she also sees Andrea Johnson as a great mentor. “My background was in administration and sales, and Andrea has really taught and trained me since I started working here. I am constantly learning new things in the area of Human Resources.”

In addition to working at Park Springs, Caroline is active in her church, and ministers especially to the homebound, sick and confined seniors in her church family. “I guess you can say that I have a passion for the elderly. Park Springs is a great place for me to work.”
