ART Station Presents “The Marvelous Wonderettes” - Musical Directed by Karen Beyer Starts School Year with Prom

To get a head start on the new school year, ART Station has invited well-known Atlanta director and choreographer Karen Beyer to direct The Marvelous Wonderettes, a light-hearted musical that will take theater-goers back to the 1958 Springfield High School prom. All shows run Thursdays through Sundays from August 1 – 18 and tickets are available online at www.artstation.org or by calling 770-469-1105.

The Marvelous Wonderettes are four teenage girls, played by Emily Budd, Hailey Daigle, Liza Jaine and Sims Lamason, all with hopes and dreams as big as their petticoats. They share this special evening in their young lives through such classic '50s and '60s songs as "Lollipop," "Dream Lover," "Stupid Cupid," "Lipstick On Your Collar," "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me," "It's My Party" and more than twenty other pop hits. The show’s musical direction is by Patrick Hutchison.
