As part of its Homeowner Gardening Series, DeKalb Cooperative Extension will offer a class on how to raise chickens. The speakers will be Walter Reeves, well-known TV and radio gardening guru, and Dr. Casey Ritz of the UGA Poultry Science Department. You will learn how to take care of chickens, and whether or not it is legal to do so in your neighborhood.
