Where: Panola Mountain State Park

Why go: A very different and fun way to spend a Saturday night. Note: Register in advance by calling 770-389-7801. Cost is $7 plus $5 parking.  Meet at the nature center 15 minutes before each program.

3. Monthly Community Breakfast at Masonic Lodge

When: Saturday, September 1, 7-9:30 a.m.

Where: Masonic Lodge, 840 VFW Drive, Stone Mountain GA 30083

Why go: Breakfast for $5? It’s got to be one of the best deals in town.
