[Video] Blue Grassroots Festival in Stone Mountain Village

The music played and the weather cooperated at the third annual event.

The Third Annual Blue Grassroots Music & Arts Festival in Stone Mountain Village had several things on its side Saturday: weather (which brightened up during the day after a cloudy morning and overnight drizzles); the cost (free to enter; food, drink, activities and were for sale); fun-loving families; and of course lots of bluegrass fans and musicians up and down Main Street and along side streets.

Kids could bungee jump, bounce in the bouncy houses, and take train rides in a small train just their size. Restaurants in the village and outdoor food vendors served up lunch, snacks, and much-needed beverages on the warm day. Adults and children learned barn dances and other jigs at workshops throughout the day. Artists and artisans showed off their talents and creations.

See the attached video for a one-minute summary of the festival.
