Two Businesses Relocate, A Partnership Forms and Saturday Breakfast Is Coming
Here's a snapshot of recent local small business activity.
Good timing, indeed. Brenda Maddox, owner of LeJoy Gifts and Flower Shop, was walking through Stone Mountain Village last year looking at various renovations in the town when she first met Tara Williams, the owner of soy candle and gifts business Scentalicious.
A few months ago, Maddox --who was interested in using Williams' candle products in her creations -- had planned to open up her business in another location, but it didn't work out. She had resigned herself to try again next year.
But opportunity knocked: Williams invited her to share the space at 913 Main Street in Stone Mountain Village.
Maddox has been there about a month and a half. "It's amazing how that worked out," she said.
New Digs. Georgia Stars Academy of Dance & More has moved to 927 Main Street in Stone Mountain Village from 945 Main Street several doors down.
The Miracle of Massage, Inc. Massage & Pain Relief Center has relocated to 703 South Main Street from 925 Main Street.
Sweet Saturday morning breakfast. Starting in November, Sweet Potato Café on 5366 Manor St. will start serving Saturday morning breakfast in November, the restaurant announced on its Facebook page.
