Suspect in Fatal Ponce De Leon Shooting Arrested in Lithonia
The victim was gunned down in October at the corner of Ponce de Leon and Moreland.
Atlanta police have announced the arrest of a man in the brazen daylight killing of a man in a vehicle at the intersection of Ponce de Leon and Moreland in October.
Shaheed K. Huff, 30, was arrested without incident Tuesday in Lithonia and transported to the DeKalb County jail.
Huff has been charged with Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault with a Weapon in the killing of Graham Sisk, 23.
Sisk was killed Oct. 5 in the afternoon shooting at the busy intersection, shocking many in the Virginia-Highland/Druid Hills community.
Atlanta police said soon after that they believed that Sisk was targeted by his attackers and that the crime was not random.
According to APD, Sisk was traveling northbound on Moreland Ave approaching Ponce De Leon when "suspects approached him and fired multiple times. ...It appears that there may be two suspect vehicles and multiple suspects involved."
Police did not release information Wednesday on a possible motive in the killing.
