Stone Mountain City Council Approves Sign Ordinance

Council members voted unanimously for the changes; beer and wine license also approved for the Crab Pot restaurant.

The Stone Mountain City Council approved at its regular business meeting Tuesday night.

There was lively discussion about the sign ordinance at the council's last work session in September, where the city's merchants suggested changes and weighed in on parts of the proposal.

The council also unanimously approved a beer and wine license for the Crab Pot restaurant at 961 Main Street; proposal for live stream of council meetings (councilman Richard Mailman voted against it); streetscape phases 3 and 4; underground easement at the new city hall, 875 Main Street; and proposal for professional services to revise the City of Stone Mountain’s storm water management, with Clark Patterson Lee, $4,500.
