APD Sgt. Gregory Lyon, a department spokesman, details a Jan. 29 incident in which 4 men were thwarted in what appears to be an attempted smuggling of guns, mobile phones and other items in the U.S. Federal Penitentiary in Chosewood Park at the border of Thomasville Heights.
