Local Women's Shelter Gets Donation from Mattress Firm
A crew from the company delivered 17 mattresses to the International Women's Shelter on Tuesday.
A local women's shelter got a big donation from Mattress Firm Tuesday: 17 new mattresses for its residents.
More than a dozen volunteers took out some of the old, worn mattresses, then delivered -- and set up -- the new ones in less than an hour. The volunteers also assisted with other projects at the shelter, which has a multi-lingual staff, 24-hour crisis line, and a number of support services including legal advocacy, child care, job training and placement, and parenting skills training.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Although they donated beds to a woman's shelter they don't treat women great as employees. This is a male driven organization and women don't succeeded there because they can't meet the lifting requirements. So women are set up to fail. Women are larger producers in sales but are often skipped over because of their gender with jobs and better stores women are clearly not promoted. Don't support mattress firm please.

They just want public exposure they don't care about women at all!
