What's better than free? Free food, of course.
Tastings, demos and nutrition information will be available at the second "Taste of Park Springs," at the continuing care retirement community on Wednesday, April 18, from 1-5 p.m.
“We’ll feature the culinary creations of our award-winning Chef Derrick Henry plus innovative new products by vendor partners including Inland Foods, Kraft and Sysco,” said Park Springs’ assistant food and beverage director Pavia Wasmund, in a press release about the event. ”Gourmet healthy dishes include a strawberry and feta salad topped with grilled chicken, and our own Macaroni & Cheese, a favorite comfort food.”
Said Chef Henry: “Bringing young talent to the table helps keep our menu fresh and exciting. We serve nearly 800 meals a week, delighting every Member every day with dishes like seared scallops over saffron risotto and our signature Park Springs salad with pecans and blue cheese.”
