CNN Highlights Grammy-Nominated Christian Singer with Local Connection
Jamie-Grace Harper, whose home church is in unincorporated Stone Mountain, was up for a Grammy award; CNN featured her in a video about her journey to the awards and her struggle with Tourette Syndrome.

CNN interviewed Grammy-nominated Christian recording artist Jamie-Grace (Jamie-Grace Harper), whose home church is in Stone Mountain, for a video that appeared over the weekend.
In the video, Harper talks about her struggle with the neurological disorder Tourette Syndrome and the important role music plays in her life.
Harper's parents are pastor Mona Harper and bishop James Harper of Kingdom City Church, 5419 Rockbridge Rd.
Harper's song "Hold Me" was nominated for best contemporary Christian music song at the 2012 Grammy awards. The award went to Atlantan Laura Story for her song "Blessings."
