Man's Identity Sought
Crime Stoppers and City of Stone Mountain police are offering a $2,000 reward for information about an unidentified man, who may possibly be connected a recent fatal shooting.
City of Stone Mountain police -- still piecing together circumstances behind a fatal shooting that happened Aug. 31 -- along with Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for information about an unidentified 'critically ill' man at Grady Memorial Hospital, 11 Alive reported recently.
The information from the report, including video was reposted today (Tuesday, Sept. 11) on Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta's Facebook page.
The television station showed hospital-provided images of the man, who was first dropped off at DeKalb Medical Center. Underneath the video image, are the words "Do you know this man?"
City of Stone Mountain Police Department are looking into whether two incidents are related: the murder on Aug. 31 at The Lakes Apartments, and the gunshot victim dropped off at DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur within the same time frame of the murder.
