JoAnn Ellis joins Private Bank of Decatur

Private Bank of Decatur has named Lithonia resident JoAnn Ellis as a Personal Banker. She is responsible for bringing clients a private banking approach across all functions of the bank.

“JoAnn takes seriously the responsibility of making sure each customer’s financial needs are met,” says Judy Turner, President of Private Bank of Decatur, “and that makes her a natural fit for our growing team.”

Ellis began her banking career 30+ years ago at a community bank in Michigan. The Chicago native has been in Atlanta for 26 years. She was previously with Bank of North Georgia, Bank of America and BankSouth. Away from the bank, she enjoys traveling, reading and baking. Ellis and her husband have two children – three if you count four-legged son, Tucker, a lab/border collie mix. They reside in Lithonia.

“My approach is simple,” she says. “I treat customers as I would like to be treated and handle their business as if it were my own.”

Private Bank of Decatur brings a private banking approach to all clients across all functions of the bank. It is a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, which is designated a Preferred Lender by the U.S. Small Business Administration and includes a dedicated mortgage solutions unit, Private Mortgage Services.
